Gestern noch 32 Grad und heute Morgen gerade mal die H\u00e4lfte. Und es ist sehr bew\u00f6lkt. Da gehen wir erst mal in einen Supermarkt und kaufen ein wenig ein. Gegen Mittag sind wir im Waipara Valley, um ein paar Weine zu probieren. Eine knappe Autostunde n\u00f6rdlich von Christchurch liegt dieses junge und kleine Anbaugebiet, in dem es eine gute Auswahl an Weinbaubetrieben gibt. Bei Waipara Hills hat mir besonders der Riesling aus der Equinox-Linie gemundet. Das Anwesen ist sehr einladend und. sch\u00f6n anzusehen. Leider hat die preisgekr\u00f6nte K\u00fcche heute\ngeschlossen. Daf\u00fcr ist das Tasting interessant. Schade, dass die Sonne nicht scheint.
