Der Himmel war bedeckt. Gut f\u00fcr unsere sonnenverbrannte Haut. Der wurde eingerichtet, um die vom Aussterben bedrohten Bonteboks (Buntb\u00f6cke) zu sch\u00fctzen. Gut, dass wir in de Hoop schon vielen Tiere und eben auch Bonteboks begegnet sind, sonst w\u00e4ren wir sicher entt\u00e4uscht gewesen, dass wir heute nur wenige Tiere und die auch nur in gr\u00f6\u00dferer Entfernung gesehen haben. Aber auch heute ist wieder auf die Reptilien Verlass: gleich zweimal marschieren uns recht gro\u00dfe Schildkr\u00f6ten (vermutlich Pantherschildkr\u00f6ten) \u00fcber den Weg, sehr zur Freude von Paviane, das die Schotterpiste kurz nach dem de Hoop Reserve kreuzte. Interessant, wie die ca. 50 Affen mit ihren Babys auf dem R\u00fccken, den Halbw\u00fcchsigen im Schlepptau und den vielen Weibchen und 2 bis 3 riesigen M\u00e4nnchen unseren Weg kreuzten. Ganz anders als im Zoo. Ein altehrw\u00fcrdiges Gem\u00e4uer mit allem Komfort, mit hohen Stuckdecken und mit Stilm\u00f6beln, einem traumhaften Garten und vor allem mit einem sehr netten Besitzer aus der&nbsp;Schweiz. Der Empfehlung sind wir sehr gerne gefolgt und wurden aufs Angenehmste \u00fcberrascht. Kudu-Carpaccio (a) und Muscheln in Knoblauchso\u00dfe (w) sowie Steaks von der Oryx-Antilope (a+w) mundeten aufs Feinste.
